Concord Art Association will be hosting a demonstration of the monotype process, beginning at 10:30am on Wednesday Oct. 9.

I’ll work with the techniques that I’ve been using to produce the blackbird series.

Using Charbonnel inks, a plexiglas plate, soft rollers, Q-tips, and a glass palette the image is created.  The plexi plate is moved to an etching press and topped with a piece of Rives BFK paper.  After a trip through the press the image is transferred to the paper.
